Salon site review
A hair or beauty salon in England can ask us to review the agreed workplace areas and records in one visit. Product use, people and the premises decide what belongs in scope.
We review chemical products and cleaning methods, potential skin exposure, ventilation arrangements, slips, electrical equipment use and fire precautions where relevant to the salon's actual work.

Tell us which hair or beauty treatments are carried out and which rooms are shared.

We also walk the escape route and note who manages shared areas.

Immediate concerns are raised on site; the report states which controls need checking again.
